We are over the moon that Carolyn is returning to the hedge to host another photography course

xPhotography workshop for beginners.
How to get the most out of your digital camera and take better pictures.

The workshop will include:

- The basics of photography, understanding your camera better;
Apertures, Shutter Speed, ISO and other camera modes.How to use natural light for better pictures

- Composition and how to best frame your subject

- How to take better portraits

- A chance to practice your new found skills.

Classes are limited to 8 spaces so please be quick if you would like to book. This workshop is suitable for both DSLR & Bridge cameras. After the workshop you will be able to join the private Facebook group for continued support, inspiration and networking.

Get Hooked on Crochet: plant hangers

Sunday 21st October 2018 10am-12.30pm

Have a go at making a small hanging basket, perfect for displaying a small trailing plant, from upcycled fabric yarn. 

This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those confident with basic crochet stitches. We will be learning the magic circle technique, working in the round, and increasing stitches to create a basket.

Included in the price is a 10mm crochet hook, a bobbin of fabric yarn in your choice of colour, yarn needle, stitch marker and an instruction sheet. Cake and hot drinks provided!

Children over 8 are very welcome.
