These magical incense matches are in part the secret why Hedge always smelt so delicious.  Every morning we would strike a Hibi incense match to refresh the store.  An obsession with scent led us to Hibi, this wonderful Japanese brand and we soon became hooked.  A perfect gift and a must have if you like your home to smell incredible.  The woody notes remind me of a Cotswold hotel, a lazy Sunday afternoon relaxing with my feet up. I can’t say which is our favourite, they are all lovely in their own way you honestly can’t go wrong whichever you choose.

Simply light the incense match by striking it, lay it on Hibi’s exclusive mat and enjoy the match will burn for around 10 minutes. The mat is heat-resistant so you can safely leave it on your desk and the scent will linger for hours afterwards.

Made in the city of Harima, of incense sourced from Awaji Island they combine two long standing traditional crafts which are characteristic of the beautiful Hyogo Perfecture.  The incense stick is its own match and included is the exclusive heat resistant mat, which eliminates the mess normally associated with incense sticks.
